All prices are for van rentals use in the UK mainland only. Prices include VAT, van rental insurance for one driver and 150 miles per day (up to 6 days rentals) or 700 miles per week (7 days rentals or more). Fuel NOT included. Excess miles charged at 25 pence per mile.
DAILY: Price is per day and for anything up to 24 hours van rental. Saturday van rental can start at the close of business on Friday (5pm) or Saturday morning – either way, it ends by 4.30pm Saturday afternoon. Sunday van rental starts on Saturday 4.30pm and ends Monday morning 8.30am.
WEEKLY: Van rental is for 7 days.
DEPOSIT: must be paid on collection with van rental charge. Normally paid by Debit or credit card.
Drivers must produce a full driving licence, a recent bank statement or utility bill for address confirmation and a National Insurance number for checking driving licence online (UK licence holders only). To obtain a licence check code, please go to ‘Share My Driving Licence’ website. Driving licences from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and all EU countries are acceptable on normal terms. Proof of address in the UK must be produced. Driving licence holders from all other countries need to contact us first in order to get insurance clearance.
Extra drivers £8 per day or £35 per week.
All drivers must have a full driving licence for at least 24 months with no serious accidents or endorsements. Lower age limit 21, upper age limit 75 .Drivers 21-25 years of age must have no accidents and or endorsements/points current or pending. Drivers under 25 must pay a double rental deposit. For rental of Jumbo Transits, Tipper Transits and Luton Box vans, drivers must be over 25 years of age.
Accident/claim excess is equal to double the van rental deposit plus VAT per claim. Deposits must be paid on a Debit or Credit card.
DAMAGE LIABILITY REDUCTION: £15 per day or £59 per week. Opting for Damage Liability Reduction (DLR) halves the renters liability on the van rental contract to give increased peace of mind. Excludes vehicle theft, key loss and malicious damage – any damage caused by, or as a result of, using the vehicle contrary to the Jafvans terms and conditions laid out in the rental agreement. DLR is NOT available on 15 and 17 seater minibuses and Luton Box van rentals. It may be withdrawn at anytime due to adverse weather conditions or at the discretion of Jafvans management.
